As one of the world's most renowned supermodels and a style setter in her own right, Bella Hadid has undergone a major transformation or two. Whether it's rocking a dark pixie cut, a flashback prom hairstyle, a secondary school side fringe, or even XXXL hair extensions, used as a bra, she's always pulling something unexpected out of the bag. Then there's the fact that she's also pretty fearless when it comes to body confidence, rocking risqué styles and embracing the sexiest trends out there.
Her latest fashion moment has pushed things even further still. At the Marc Jacobs AW22 catwalk show, which took place in New York City at the Public Library on 27 June, Bella strutted the runway in a truly show-stopping look. Specifically, she wore a huge, voluminous ball gown in black vinyl, complete with power shoulders, a waist cinched into a bow at the back, and even a slight train. Topping off the outfit were white vinyl opera gloves and the *cutest* white platform, strappy boots.
It's a serious power look that's giving Bridgerton in terms of grandeur but BDSM thanks to the liberal lashings of shiny black vinyl. With fashion looking more sexed up than ever (hello dare-to-bare cutouts and Julia Fox-style fetishwear-as-daywear) it only makes sense that Bella would be modelling some avant-garde, kink-inspired 'fits on the runway.
The rest of the show also featured models such as Gigi Hadid rocking parachute pants, huuuuuge jumpers, vinyl headscarfs, teensy-tiny bras and probably the biggest handbag we've ever seen. The beauty at the show has been getting tongues wagging, too, with social media obsessing over hair looks including shaved sides, bowl cuts and non-existent brows which the models wore to debut the collection.
It's as extra as they come... but that's fashion darling!
