You know the saying 'go big or go home'? Well, Dua Lipa's been taking that exact same approach to her footwear lately. First, there was her revival of the Moon Boots (including the Hello Kitty pair that she teamed with a bikini in the snow). Now, she's gone one better bigger with some truly massive yeti boots for her latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the whole thing is downright iconic.
Dua's two-piece co-ord set consists of a heart-shaped crop top and matching mini skirt in a green and yellow houndstooth print. The detailing is also particularly cool. The top features diamanté style embellishment, making the trim twinkle under the stage lights. As for the sides of the skirt, well they're covered in matching feathery trim, of course. Safe to say, the outfit is already giving the most. And that's before we even get to the boots.
Yep, you were out here thinking that the co-ord was the main event, but nay, it's the footwear we're mostly here for, my friends.
Let me present to you the biggest, fluffiest pair of boots you've ever laid eyes on:
Aren't they just... massive?
Here's Dua making 'em look totally normal, crossing her legs while wearing them like it's no big deal:
Everyone's clicking on...
So she can clearly walk and sit in them but we didn't expect her to go on and dance in these shoes.
As part of the segment, Dua went on to tell Jimmy about a dance move that she says she's reclaiming on her Future Nostalgia tour. "There was a moment where it actually caused me a lot of grief. Like, I was being bullied online, it wasn't very nice."
Now she says, "I've brought it back, I'm doing it on my tour, I'm reclaiming it." Yes, Dua- you do you <33
Not only that but even decided to show us the move in question (yup, even while wearing those boots), teaching Jimmy how to do it in the process, and the result is amazing. Watch it for yourself:
We love everything about this: the outfit, the empowerment and, dare I say it, those boots.
