Selena Gomez is in New York City filming a new series, Only Murders in the Building, and she's been spotted out and about in some seriously good winter outfits.
It's slightly unclear which ones are styled for her character, and which are her own 'fits, but who cares - we are majorly enjoying them. She's also sporting a new 'do with a cute curly fringe.
Let's check out some of her looks, starting with this very good tonal number:
Yes, Selena. Doesn't she look fierce? Unbothered? Wearing a beanie, faux-fur coat, and jumper all in various shades of butternut squash, she finished the look with some excellent checked trousers. The straight leg cut works perfectly with her lace-up flat boots - essential for stomping around any big city. With her over-ear headphones and John Lennon lenses, she could almost blend right in with the Brooklyn morning commute crowd. (Except that, you know, she's one of the world's most famous faces.)
Next up is this truly marvellous red boiler suit. Never knew I needed one in my life, but here we are. The utility pockets and on-trend chunky boots make it feel tough, but then the belted wait and fluffy coat balance it out a bit. Look at that voluminous hair, too. I guess this is how celebrities do "windswept."
Okay, the cool trousers are back - how good is this look? The crop of the trouser with the boots disappearing up underneath, and the long jacket - gold star. This is what my New York travel wardrobe of dreams looks like, if I can ever get on a plane again.
And finally, we get to the most 2020 outfit of all. Say it with me now - loungewear. From tie dye sweats, to matching trackies, fluffy robes, and cosy slippers, the loungewear category absolutely dominated in a year when many people were/are stuck at home more than ever. Selena's in a matching cream set complete with furry Uggs, so basically...what half the country has worn all year on their "camera off" Zoom calls. Looks insanely comfy.
