I've said it before and I'll say it again: I can't believe Shakira is 43. Like, how was 'Whenever, Wherever' released 19 years ago? And how is the absolute banger, 'Hips Don't Lie', 14 years old? I haven't the faintest clue. Anywhoo, Shakira's out here adding more fuel to our denial fire by posting the fiercest bikini pictures on Instagram.
Overnight the singer shared some beachside vacay snaps wearing the most extra purple bikini we've seen in a long time. The lilac two-piece design features beaded fringe details over the hips, bum and just below the bust. As an aside, is anyone else thinking how perfect this outfit would be for a TikTok of Shakira dancing to 'Hips Don't Lie'?
But this isn't just any eye-catching swimwear set, no sir. It turns out Shakira actually designed the look herself, making it even more brilliant.
"This is a new bathing suit I designed and my friend Bego made for me," reads the caption. "I always need to create my own for the summer!"
Wowzers, pose game is STRONG. Again, how is she 43?
Shakira followed the grid post with a couple more behind-the-scenes pics on Stories, showing us the design in all its extra glory.

This has got to be one of the funnest bikinis we've seen in a while, we're really hoping this is the first of many Shakira swimwear gems.
