Amber Heard rocked up to the London premiere of her latest film, Aquaman, in a lewk that was so bang-on-theme we are speechless.

The actress opted for a beautiful, green gown for the special event, which she wore with a matching hat that looked a teeny tiny bit like a swimming cap. Well this movie IS about an Aquaman, guys.

In fact, swimming cap aside, the whole dress situation is giving us ocean-y, mermaid vibes. (That's a thing, right?).

From the metallic shimmer featured throughout the design, to the sea-weed like embroidery - not to mention the open back and plunging front that almost make the dress look like a two piece.

STUNNING.

The dress was designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino, and was first seen on the autumn/winter 2019 runway, swimming cap and all.

Everyone's clicking on...

Let's face it though, there's no way you're actually going swimming in Valentino...

So, what does this mean for us mere non-celebrity muggles? Will we all soon be hitting the bars with LGDs and matching swimming caps? Are mermaid-inspired looks about to become a mainstream trend?

And, perhaps most importantly, what can we expect Amber Heard to wear on the rest of her promo tour for Aquaman?

We can hardly wait to see...
