Well, it wouldn't be New Year's Day without a new Harlan Coben Netflix adaptation to obsess over, would it? After Fool Me Once, this year it's all about Missing You. If, like us, you've been watching the first episode and wondering, who is in the Missing You cast, and why do I feel like I've seen them all before? Character: Detective Kat Donovan
Rosalind plays the lead character in Missing You, detective Kat Donovan, who is shocked to see her ex-partner appear on a dating app, 11 years after he mysteriously disappeared. While digging into what's going on, she also uncovers secrets about her father's death.
Where you recognise them from: The 32-year-old actress is most recognisable as Louisa in Slow Horses, which she's starred in since 2022. She has also had roles in the film The Personal History of David Copperfield, Vanya and the TV series Breeders.
Missing You cast - Ashley Walters
Character: Josh Buchanan, Kat Donovan's fiancé who disappeared with no contact 11 years ago. When she sees his face pop up on a dating app, she's shocked, and begins to dig into exactly what happened.
Where you recognise them from: 42-year-old Ashley is most recognisable for his portrayal of Dushane in Top Boy, which ran from 2011 until 2023, when it concluded on Netflix. He also went by the name 'Asha D' while in the garage band So Solid Crew, and has been in the movies Get Rich Or Die Tryin' and Stormbreaker
Missing You cast - James Nesbitt
Character: James plays Calligan, who has history with Kat Donovan's dad and knows things about her family that were hidden from her.
Where you recognise them from: 59-year-old James has been around television for quite some time, and has starred in everything from Cold Feet to The Missing, Suspect and of course, The Hobbit trilogy.He was also in Harlan Coben's previous Netflix show, Stay Close.
Missing You cast - Richard Armitage
Character: Richard plays Ellis Stagger in Missing You - Kat Donovan's boss and a slightly shady police officer.
Where you recognise them from: What's a Harlan Coben Netflix adaptation without a bit of Richard Armitage? He has been in them all so far - Stay Close, The Stranger and Fool Me Once - as well as ITV's recent thriller Red Eye, Obsession, and the Hobbit franchise.
Missing You cast - Jessica Plummer
Character: Jessica plays Stacey Embalo, Kat Donovan's best friend and a private detective.
Where you recognise them from: 32-year-old Jessica is an actress and singer, who was a member of the British girl group Neon Jungle. She has also starred in EastEnders, The Girl Before and The Decameron, which aired on Netflix earlier this year.

Character: Steve plays Titus, the man who is seemingly behind much of the trouble unfolding for the characters in Missing You. We can't say much more without spoilers1
Where you recognise them from: Steven has been in EVERYTHING - from appearing as part of comedy series like Taskmaster to winning BAFTAs for his performance in Inside No. 9. He's also been in Benidorm, The League of Gentlemen and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Where you recognise them from: As well as cofounding Comic Relief back in the 1980s (casual), the 66-year-old actor, presenter and comedian's credits include The Witcher: Blood Origin, Rings of Power, Broadchurch and The Syndicate.
Missing You cast - Oscar Kennedy
Character: Oscar's character approaches Kat Donovan when his mum goes missing, insisting something's gone wrong on her trip to Costa Rica because she hasn't contacted him.
Where you recognise them from: 25-year-old Oscar has had minor roles in Hunted, Outlander, Home from Home, Decline and Fall, Bliss, and Ladhood.

Character: Mary plays Aqua, one of detective Kat's best friends - who is harbouring secrets about her past.
