Spoilers ahead for the Mean Girls musical!

Get in loser, we're going to the cinema to catch the new Mean Girls musical on screen and yes, we're wearing pink!

The new film, dropping in UK cinemas from 17th January, is an adaptation of the Broadway musical inspired by the 2004 film starring Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams, and rumours swirled that there would be major cameos from some OG cast members.

Producer Tina Fey teased some fun surprises ahead of the movie's US release when asked whether anyone from the original movie would return. "You have to come see," she said on the Today show. "There are wonderful surprises throughout the movie, I'd say. But, yeah, you got to come on Friday."

That being said, if you paid attention to any of the stars at the movie's New York premiere, then you already have some intel on who made a cameo in the revamped musical adaptation. So, here are all the celebrities who made a cameo in the Mean Girls musical movie, from original cast members to Grammy-winning musicians. Thank us later!

The original Cady Heron made her way back to the silver screen for Mean Girls, except, she's not reprising her role.

Paramount kept Lindsay's involvement in the new film completely under wraps ahead of its release, and it turns out her red carpet appearance at the New York premiere was a massive Easter egg.

Now, in the new movie, Lindsay appears as the moderator for the Northshore Mathletes competition (AKA a major moment for Cady) and we're obsessed.

That's right! Not only did the self-proclaimed Black Regina George drop a fire verse for Reneé Rapp's pop banger 'Not My Fault' in the film's soundtrack, she also made a cameo as one of the TikTok commentators throughout the flick (more on that later).

On her appearance, Christopher Briney who plays Aaron Samuel's revealed to Cosmopolitan UK that his co-star Jaquel Spivey, who plays Damian, "lost his mind" when Meg was on set. Relatable AF.

In a fun full-circle moment, Ashley Park made a cameo as Madame Park, Northshore's French teacher. Not only does this call back to her Emily in Paris role, but pays homage to the fact that she played Gretchen Weiners in the original Broadway cast for Mean Girls in 2017. We love to see it!

Chris Olsen (plus other TikTokers)

Chris Olsen is one of Reneé Rapp's pals IRL, so it makes sense that he landed a minor role in the new Mean Girls movie.

He's not the only social media star to make a cameo, though. Throughout the flick, TikTokers like Chris, Emely Moreno, and the Merrell Twins post Get Ready With Me and Outfit of the Day videos, as well as provide commentary for events as they unfold throughout the movie.

For example: they post hilarious clips and give their two cents on whether Cady actually pushed Regina in front of that bus.
