Celebrity break ups 2025: Who has split this year?

Back in January, it was reported Kaia and Austin had reportedly split after three years together just before the end of 2024. TMZ broke the news, and revealed there is said to be no "bad blood" between the pair and the relationship ended because it had "just simply ran its course."

Fearne Cotton has announced that she and her husband, Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, have sadly split. The couple were married for 10 years, having first met in Ibiza in 2011.

Fearne took to her Instagram stories to share the news, writing: "It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage." The 43-year-old continued, stressing that their "priority has been, and will always be" their children, Rex, 11, and Honey, eight.

Fearne ended the post by asking for "privacy" and "respect" of her family at this time.

Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz reportedly called off their engagement and broke up after three years of dating in October 2024.

People first reported the news, speaking to multiple sources who confirmed the split. Insiders haven't revealed what happened as of yet, and neither Channing nor Zoë have spoken about the breakup themselves. The former couple started dating in 2021, went public at the Met Gala, and got engaged in autumn 2023.

Lupita and Joshua were linked following his split from Jodie Turner-Smith in 2023, after they were photographed holding hands.

It's thought the pair have known each other for years, but less than a year after things turned romantic, Lupita confirmed their split during an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK. "My love for my cat is singular," she told the publication. "If I'm ever so lucky to be in a romantic relationship again, it'll be because of him. I was ready to shut that door and lock it and bolt it. He has ensured that my heart remains open."

Just months after Halle welcomed their first child, the actress and the rapper/YouTuber revealed they had broken up. "After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways," he wrote on Instagram Stories. "The decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best part forward for both of us. I cherish the time we've spent together and the love we shared."

Page Six reported that Cardi B filed for divorce, again, from her husband Offset, following the birth of their third child. A source told the outlet, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”

Singer Harry, 30, and actress Taylor, 29, were first spotted together at the White Cube gallery in London in June 2023, later going on a number of cycling and coffee dates around the English capital.

While they never made things social media or red carpet official, he was seen supporting her at one of her theatre performances, while fans pictured them holding hands.

But sadly, it wasn't to be - the pair have reportedly called it quits after a year together, with a source telling The Sun, "Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship.

"They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart. He’s been in America and she’s been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy. Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out."

While this is currently an unverified rumour, here's to hoping both of them are doing OK!

In news we weren't expecting today, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has announced she has split from husband Ryan Scott Anderson.

Gypsy shared the announcement on Facebook at the end of last week saying she needed time to focus on herself.

In a statement shared on Facebook and obtained by People, Gypsy said: "People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."

The couple got married in July 2022 while Gypsy was in prison, and had met after Ryan began writing to Gypsy during the pandemic.

Following her release from prison earlier this year, Gypsy said she and Ryan were planning to have a second wedding ceremony to celebrate with their friends and family.

In 2016 Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years in prison for second degree murder of her mother Clauddinnea “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Throughout her childhood Gypsy Rose was the victim of her mother’s munchausen-by-proxy.

Selling Sunset agent Chelsea Lazkani has filed for divorce from husband Jeff Lazkani after seven years of marriage.

According to documents obtained by People, Chelsea has filed citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their divorce.

The couple have two children together, five-year-old Maddox Ali Lavon Lazkani and three-year-old Melia Iman Lazkani. Chelsea has reportedly filed for joint custody and spousal support.

The couple met in 2015, and were married two years later in August 2017. Jeff is a managing partner at advertising agency Icon Media Group and was in part responsible for helping Chelsea getting her job at The Oppenheim Group as Chelsea met Jason Oppenheim through her husband.

So far neither Chelsea nor Jeff have commented directly on their separation.

Skins and The Gentlemen actress Kaya Scodelario and actor Ben Walker have confirmed their divorce after eight years of marriage. The pair, who tied the knot in December 2015, share a son and a daughter, and secretly went their separate ways in summer 2023.

In a joint statement released to The Sun, their reps said, "Some time ago Kaya and Ben made the joint decision to end their marriage but continue to co-parent lovingly whilst remaining the best of friends.

"They ask that their privacy as well as that of their children's remain respected as they continue to move forward as a family."

Mariah Carey and her boyfriend dancer Bryan Tanaka have reportedly split up after seven years together, according to Page Six.

Mariah, 54, and Bryan, 40, are said to have called it quits with their age gap of 14 years playing a part. “He wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at,” a source alleged.

Mariah shares 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, while Bryan doesn’t have his own children.

The pair first met in 2006, when he accompanied her as a backup dancer during her tour and rumours of the breakup began when he was notably absent from her recent performances and events. This is not giving festive cheer!
