The Traitors just got real! This evening, the show returned with a fourth season which included a brand new cast, and the biggest twist we've ever seen.
For the first time in the show's history, a Secret Traitor was appointed and just like the rest of the players, those of us watching at home were also left in the dark.
The exciting new twist gave us a fresh responsibility - one we dived into immediately, as our detective skills went into overdrive while watching.
So, who do you think the Secret Traitor is?
From suspicious game plans to major giveaways, here's all the players we think could be the Secret Traitor and all the clues and theories that point to them.
Who is the Secret Traitor? Clues and theories
Jade
We couldn't help but notice Jade after Claudia picked her Traitors. Her demeamour seemed to change almost immediately after. She went completely quiet and looked noticeably nervous at the roundtable, even though she had previously been confident talking about her love of gaming. She also didn’t get a VT afterwards, which might have been a clever move from the editors to throw us off.
Judy
Judy's name has already been mentioned by both the Faithfuls and known Traitors, which is a huge sign. she's also already hiding the fact that Roxy is her daughter from the rest of the cast and she's doing a pretty good job at that (we literally had no idea), so one more lie probably wouldn't hurt.
The biggest giveaway has to be in the car journey coming from the challenge, when she didn't defend herself. Max called her out and admitted to her face that he thinks she's a Traitor and she simply said: "What will be will be", instead of denying it.
Her name also wasn't on the murder shortlist despite being up for murder, which makes us even more suspicious as the Secret Traitor can't put themselves on the list. It's not looking good, Judy.
Sam
Out of everyone, my money is on Sam. He's doing a pretty good job at staying calm and collected, but there are so many clues pointing to him.
He first raised suspicion during the challenge. His team was the first to get back to the grave site, and he put the coffin in Rachel’s grave, saying to tell the others that they just picked the closest. But he did it so quickly, almost as if he already knew she was a Traitor.
Following the game, he said he was relieved and that he didn't want to be on anyone's radar, which for us didn't give really give off Faithful energy. Why would you be so worried if you're a Faithful - and on Day One at that?
He then suggested that the Traitors would be smart to kill off someone who wouldn't make them look suspicious, so they could get away with it, and when the known Traitors were given the shortlist they all seemed confused at just how random it was.
Sam, is that you in the red cloak?
The Traitors airs on BBC One at 8pm.
