They were the first couple to make things official on Love Island, but four months out of the villa and Megan and Dejon have decided to end their relationship.
The former couple revealed the news on Monday 22nd December, sharing separate statements on their Instagram accounts.
"It saddens me that I’ve had to write this so unexpectedly - but always want to be honest with everyone that’s supported and followed me along in my journey to finding love!" Megan wrote.
"I am truly gutted to announce that Dejon & I’s relationship has come to an end. I’m so grateful for all the good times we shared and I want to thank you all for all the support and love you gave to us throughout our relationship - you’ve all been an amazing part of this journey."
Dejon added on his Story: "It is with great sadness that I've parted ways with Megan after almost seven months together. Navigating a relationship after the intensity of the villa has had incredible memories, but also came with difficulties, especially being in the public eye, trying to incorporate work as a personal trainer and setting up a new business along the way."
He ended the statement by saying: "I wish things could have been different, and the next period of adjustment will be hard for us both, but I wish Meg nothing but the best for the future."
Since leaving the villa in August, the couple has sparked split rumours. Earlier this month, an alleged friend told The Sun that they broke up after an explosive row on holiday in Dubai.
Dejon hit back at these claims, saying: "Apparently I'm in Dubai" as he posted from his hotel in Egypt, where Meg also was.
However, fans noticed that despite being on the same trip, neither of them had posted any photos together, which makes a lot more sense now.
Megan has since removed all traces of Dejon from her Instagram page.
