The BBC has finally confirmed the date of The Celebrity Traitors and it's an entire week later than we thought. Honestly, how are we going to wait?

The series is currently underway, with four episodes having already aired on BBC One. So far we've see Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns appointed Traitors, three Faithfuls banished (Niko Omilana, Tameka Empson and Clare Balding) and three Faithfuls murdered (Paloma Faith, Tom Daley and Ruth Codd), with one more to be revealed at the start of next week's episode.

Unlike the civilian version, there will be less episodes of The Celebrity Traitors, meaning the entire schedule is different, and so it's been less clear as to when the finale will air.

However, now the BBC has confirmed when we'll be seeing the final episode of the series and it will be on 6 November, not the previously unconfirmed date of 31 October.

In a statement on Instagram, BBC iPlayer said: "By order of #TheTraitors, do not miss #TheCelebrityTraitors Finale from 6th Nov at 9pm 👀 #ClaudiaWinkleman #Traitor #Faithful Famous... and faithful? An all-star cast are ready to play the ultimate game of deceit and betrayal. The fingerless gloves are ON - let the mind games begin!"

Usually the episodes air twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, however, we have to wait one extra day for the finale this series, as the final episode will air on a Thursday evening.

While we do have longer to wait, it will at least be worth waiting for as the episode is expected to run for 70 minutes, unlike the standard 60 minute episode.

The final episode will see who will walk away with the prize fund of up to £100,000 for the charity of their choice. Unlike in the civilian version where the Faithfuls and Traitors walk home with the prize money themselves.

Right now, no Traitors have been caught and their odds are looking pretty good with Jonathan Ross still the favourite to win the show with odds of 1/1 and fellow Traitors Cat and Alan at 6/4, according to OLBG.

However, a lot can change in the next five episodes. Now the only question is, who will get banished next?

The Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
