If there's one thing we love to see, it's a man being put in his place after disrespecting a woman (especially when it's on national TV). And that's exactly what happened tonight when Love Island viewers rushed to Yasmin's defence following her argument with Ben, which came just one day after fans predicted they'd win the show.

ICYMI, in tonight's episode (26 June), Yasmin and Ben butted heads when she found out from Meg that he had plans to call time on their coupling. While she too wasn't feeling the romantic spark, she confronted Ben over why he hadn't spoken to her about this first. The conversation quickly turned sour, and Ben began hurling some pretty disgusting (and derogatory) comments towards Yasmin.

Being the absolutely iconic queen she is, however, Yasmin brushed all this off with ease. Proving once again that she's bombshelled harder than any bombshell we've seen in recent years. But I digress.

Over on X, fans – rightfully so – had plenty to say about Yasmin and Ben's exchange. "If Ben speaks to women like this on national television, imagine what he's like on the outside…" one viewer questioned, as another wrote: "Nah the way Ben talks about and to women is actually disgusting."

"'Yasmin's the most irrelevant girl I've ever met,' Ben your only screen time has been whenever you disrespect one of the girls or when Shakira dumped you," someone else pointed out, as a fourth fan shared: "HOW DOES BEN KEEP GETTING WORSE?"

Ben's clash with Yasmin couldn't have come at a worse time, with the first vote of the series opening just minutes later, allowing viewers to choose their favourite boy and their favourite girl. This means the least popular Islanders from the vote will likely be revealed in tomorrow's episode – typically resulting in one boy and one girl being dumped. With that in mind, and considering the very much pro-Yasmin posts from viewers tonight, things aren't looking too great for Ben...
