Danny Jones has issued a statement apologising to his wife, after he was photographed kissing Maura Higgins at a BRITs after party two weeks ago.
Danny, 39, took to his Instagram Stories earlier this evening (14 March) to apologise to wife Georgia Horsley, whom he has been married to since 2014.
Posting on a white background, with black text Danny wrote: "Hello everyone, sorry I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
"I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much, and we’ll continue to deal with this privately."
He ended the statement by adding: "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support."
On the night of 1 March, Danny was pictured kissing his I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here campmate Maura Higgins. The pair both competed on the series last year and Danny was crowned 'King of the Jungle' at the end of the season. The whole cast appeared especially close and been spotted hanging out since filming ended in Australia.
Prior to Danny's statement earlier today, since the pictures were released neither Maura nor Danny had commented on the images and stayed quiet on social media. However, earlier today Maura began to post on her Instagram again, sharing images of an Oh Polly campaign she is involved with.
Danny and Georgia have been married since 2014, having met in 2008 and they have one son together. Georgia is a former Miss England and has since become a model and lifestyle influencer. She also hosts her own podcast Mum's the Word alongside Kelsey Parker.
Following the pictures of Maura and Danny, Georgia returned to Instagram earlier this week to post a sweet photo of the couple's son.
