Since its release just under a month ago, our brains have been consumed with one thing and one thing only...Wicked Part 1. From holding space memes, to listening to the soundtrack on repeat, Wicked has firmly taken over our lives. And now that we've been to the cinema twice (ok four times) to see it, we are counting down the days until the second movie arrives.
Just as desperate as us to see Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande back in action? Well this is everything we know about Wicked Part 2 so far.
What is the title of Wicked Part 2?
Following the release of Wicked Part 1, the movie's official Instagram account excitingly revealed on 16th December the full title for the movie coming out next year.
Drum roll please... Wicked Part 2 will be known as Wicked: For Good.
When is Wicked: For Good released?
Ok guys you're going to be slightly disappointed with this as we have to wait an entire year for Wicked: For Good to be released. The second movie is scheduled to land in cinemas on Friday 21st November 2025.
While it's a long time to wait, at least we can look forward to even more iconic red carpet looks from Cynthia and Ariana this time next year.
Who is in the cast for Wicked: For Good?
Thankfully all the cast are set to return for the second movie (which has already been filmed) and so we will be seeing the following reprise their roles:

What will happen in Wicked: For Good?
The first part of the movie largely followed the plot of the first act of the stage production, ending on the incredible performance of 'Defying Gravity'. Given how its so closely followed the stage show, it's likely the second film will largely mirror the events of act two.
In the second half of the stage production the hunt for Elphaba is on, with Fiyero leading the charge, and she's now been labelled the 'Wicked Witch of the West', with Glinda promoted to the Wizard's main spokesperson and known as 'Glinda the Good'.
The second act also sees the creation of Nessa as the 'Wicked Witch of the East' and the creation of numerous characters we meet in the Wizard of Oz.
While Elphaba attempts to do good, this all changes after Nessa is killed by Dorothy's house and she vows to become truly "wicked".
Ok, we're really not sure if we can wait a year for Part 2 to arrive.
