Molly-Mae Hague, 25, says she will "always love" Tommy Fury, 25, in her first vlog since the pair announced their split.
Taking to her YouTube channel last night (29th August) Molly posted a 36-minute long video, simply titled "Hi 🖤", and before diving into a more classic vlog made up of her daily routine, Molly spoke candidly to camera about her split from Tommy for the first time, after the former engaged couple announced on 14th August they were no longer together.
She revealed she wasn't there to "spill the tea" and she won't be speaking publicly about the details of their breakup.
"You might be clicking on this video hoping I'll spill the tea or speak about what's been happening the past few weeks but to be honest with you that was never something that was going to happen and it's not something I ever plan on talking about," she told her followers.
Molly went onto thank everyone for their support and revealed for the last few weeks she had been leaning on her own support system of friends and family, and added: "It's not drama, it's not a publicity stunt, it's actually really sad and deep and I don't feel right to talk about it."
She continued saying, "Out of respect for Tommy I don't want to talk about it because the last two weeks has been a lot and it has blown out of proportion and the last thing I want to do it fuel the fire and stir the pot when it doesn't need to be. I want to move forward and look to the future."
Before ending the section of the vlog she told her followers she will always "love" Tommy and as the father of their daughter Bambi, who is not yet two, she will always "respect" and "value" him.
"Tommy is Bambi's dad and I will always value him and respect him and will always have a lot of love for him," she said. "We were together for five years and it is very very sad. Lets hope we can move forward because I have so many exciting things coming up."
The video has been viewed over 1.3million times since Molly released it last night and the comment section has been flooded with warm and supportive comments from followers wishing their love, support and praise for Molly and daughter Bambi.
On 14th August, Molly shocked fans when she released a statement on her Instagram Story saying the couple were no longer together.
"Never in a million years did I ever think I'd have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end," she posted to a black screen on Instagram.
And later that day Tommy posted his own statement addressing the breakup: "I am heartbroken that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families' privacy as we navigate our way through this difficult time."
The couple had met on Love Island season five filmed in 2019 and became runners up of the series, and since then they quickly moved in together, welcomed their daughter Bambi early on in 2023 and in July last year Tommy proposed to Molly in a stunning cliff-side proposal in Ibiza.
Since the initial announcement of their split the pair remained silent on social media, until earlier this week when Molly posted on Instagram a picture of herself looking serene and thanking followers for their dedicated support in the last few weeks.
"Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for🤍," she wrote on 27th August.
Tommy then followed suit on 28th August and posted his own statement on Instagram. He uploaded a picture of himself in a gym tying up his shoelaces, and revealed the last few weeks had been "heartbreaking" due to "false allegations".
"These last few weeks have been heartbreaking. The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this 🤍," he wrote.
While he did not explicitly detail the allegations, he previously addressed, via a spokesperson, concerns that he had cheated.
Speaking to The Mirror, it is reported that his spokesperson said: "Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers."
Towards the end of Molly's vlog she revealed she is throwing all her energy into a brand new project which she's been working on for the last two years and all will be revealed on 8th September.
We hope both Molly and Tommy are doing ok.
