Hello and welcome to 2024, the year that began with our Insta feeds being blessed with a carousel of drunken selfies posted by the one and only Dua Lipa (who is currently on a supremely envy-inducing trip to India with her family).
In the early hours of this morning, the singer took to socials to share not one but five candid snaps of herself in bed after having drunk a bunch of cocktails to ring in the fresh year (and a secret BTS shot of her camera roll featuring... yet more drunken bed selfies).
Captioning the shots, Dua wrote: "anyone else do this after 5 negroni's? Happy 2024!!!"
Naturally, her 88 million followers loved the post and couldn't help but comment on how relatable the Houdini singer is. "Haha she just like me for real I love her," wrote one, while another commented with "I think she’s drunk 😭😭".
A third quipped, "No. I do this after 5 gin and tonic[s]".
To even out her grid, Dua later posted some posed photos taken earlier on in her night and obviously she looks absolutely stun-ning in them – she's wearing the most chic brown halter dress that perfectly offsets her new red (or should that be 'pinot noir') tones.
