For the last week, Dua Lipa has been enjoying some well-deserved time off in India, where she's been holidaying with her family. But thanks to social media, it means that we've been able to keep up with the star on her travels, where she's been posting the most stunning snaps of her trip so far.

Dua's most recent photo dump - in which she announced she feels "beyond lucky" to be ending the year in the country - has had fans fixated, with many likening the photos to the iconic Julia Roberts film/Elizabeth Gilbert memoir, Eat Pray Love.

The first image in the carousel showed the singer looking sunkissed and recharged, her red hair flowing down her back while sporting minimal makeup.

The second was a video of traditional Indian dancing and entertainment, in which Dua could be heard cheering enthusiastically in the background.

The singer further accompanied the assortment of images by thanking "all the wonderful people" who have shown her and her family "so much love, kindness, hospitality and generosity."

She said: "This experience has been deeply meaningful. I feel lucky to be in and within the magic with my family where we have had the time to explore, regroup, recharge and restart. Ready for the year ahead. What a joy!!!"

Elsewhere in the carousel, Dua beamed alongside an elephant, rode on horseback through the countryside, caught footage of tigers while on safari and dined al-fresco on the bonnet of a Jeep.

Of course, she also made time to get glammed up and donned an all-white ensemble with her hair slicked back in a high pony as she explored the wonders of India at night.

Due to the varied images, plenty of fans took to the comment section to gush over Dua's trip.

"Dua in India is a whole vibe," one person penned, while a second said: "Slaying in India."

"Looks incredible. What an experience," a third added, as a fourth typed: "One thing about Dua is she knows how to live her best life."
