OK, so we already knew that ITV was going to extend tonight's episode of Love Island due to the *dramatic* recouplings, and we were officially on the edge of our seat the entire time.

As the Casa Amor challenge comes to a close (and last night's cliffhanger is finally explained), we can rest easy in our beds knowing who has ended up with who. But ICYMI, let's recap.

At the end of last week, the girls were sent to Casa Amor, and the boys stayed behind in the main villa. Both groups were tempted by newcomers, but they had to decide whether they were going to stay faithful to their OG partners or whether they were going to dump them. Stressful, we know.

And as tonight's ep aired, Love Island fans obviously flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts, and some of the reactions were wild, to say the least. Especially when it came to Dami and Inidyah, as fans all had the same response:

And when it came to Gemma and Luca, fans just *could not* deal...

Then it was Jacques's turn, and the drama meter was turned up even more:

But as heads literally rolled, (ours definitely did) at least the suspense came to an end and the recouplings were made official. Thankfully, due to the many gasps and spilt glasses of wine, the official Love Island Twitter account shared the news in writing, and tbh, that's enough drama in one night for us. While Gemma and Luca were still paired, Ekin-Su & Davide came out together, as did Danica & Josh.

OK, we've just about recovered and are ready for tomorrow's episode. Let's go again.

Love Island is on tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
