It's official! Love Island 2021 is over, and Millie Court and Liam Reardon have been crowned this year's winners.

Among all the excitement following the show's final, there's already been discussion over how the couple will manage a potentially long-distance relationship once they return to the UK, with Millie currently living in Essex and Liam living in Wales.

Millie's mum Esme has already invited Liam to move in after the show, and now Liam's sister Niamh has said she think Liam will "definitely" move to be closer to Millie.

Speaking on Capital South Wales, Niamh discussed the distance between the couple, saying, "I don't think it's going to be a problem. I mean, Liam, I don’t think he was ever going to settle in Merthyr [Liam's hometown] anyways, so I think it’s just easy for him to go up closer to Millie.

"He’s got loads of friends around the Essex and London area anyway, so I just think it’s just easier for him to go. Yeah, definitely. It won't be a problem for Liam at all."

When asked by the host whether she thinks Liam will move "down there" (i.e. to Essex or London), Niamh replied, "Oh definitely, yeah, yeah. I don't think he would have stayed in Merthyr. He's always gone to Ibiza and places like that."

Asked about meeting the family and whether Millie would like Liam's hometown of Merthyr, Niamh responded, "Yeah I hope so! Millie’s family just seemed so down to Earth when I watched the episode the other night. I honestly think we’ll all get on like a house on fire so I’m really looking forward to meeting her."
