Fans are in stitches after Love Island's Matthew Macnabb reacted to the bombshell Priya Gopaldas dropped in last night's episode. On Sunday night the 23-year-old medical student revealed that she finds her coupled up hunk Brett Staniland 'boring', which shocked viewers and former Love Island contestants.

Last night (Sunday 15) saw the boys prepare a romantic meal for the girls, but while Brett headed back to the kitchen to prepare the next course, Priya told Faye Winter and Mary Bedford that she was "zoning out of conversations".

Priya told the girls that she was "bored", when Faye revealed that she "could tell".

Matthew Macnabb was among the shocked former Islanders as he took to his Instagram Stories to react in real time (watch it above.)

The ex-Islander was filming his TV as he watched the romantic (read: very awkward) date unfold, when he flipped his camera to selfie mode, and rolled his eyes and pouted. Matthew was getting to know Priya just last week but she brutally dumped him from the island before the final bombshell of the series arrived, Brett.

The Irish marketing consultant even told the boys it felt like Priya “was built” for him after making sure Priya's first morning in the villa got off to the perfect start by making her a coffee before the pair worked out together in the gym and Priya gushed over how 'hot' Matthew was.

Things progressed and the pair got to the stage were even snogging beneath the sheets, so when Priya chose Brett and his 'piercing eyes' over her Irish hunk who she found 'sexually attracted to' it was understandable that Matthew looked gutted. As he left the villa he said "Priya’s decision tonight shocked me, I felt like we had a really strong connection."

We reckon she'll regret choosing Brett over the Irish hunk when the results from last night's vote are revealed. Gulp.
