If anyone has gone on a Love Island journey, it's Toby Aromolaran. Once the villain of the series, the 22-year-old semi-professional footballer is now a huge fan favourite - and viewers were obsessed with him offering out advice during last night's episode [15 August.]

In case you need a recap, Toby kicked off his Love Island experience in a couple with Kaz Kamwi. In a savage turn of events, he dumped her for Chloe Burrows, before dumping her for Abi Rawlings.

Only, er, he then dumped Abi for Mary Bedford - before ending things with her to get back with Chloe. Yeah, it was a lot.

While some viewers were unhappy with Toby's behaviour at the time, the last week of Love Island has seen him cement himself as a villa favourite. Thanks to his one liners and actually-quite-mature advice, his reputation has done a full 180', especially during a chat with Jake Cornish.

After Jake told Liberty Poole he loved her, things kicked off a bit when the girls questioned his intentions. But rather than letting Jake focus on the other contestants' comments, Toby insisted he channel his attention into fixing things with Liberty. Fans were loving it.

"I think Toby is now the king of #LoveIsland - telling Jake to concentrate on Libby rather than concerning which girl said what," one person wrote. Another added, "Toby is actually right... Jake trying to focus on who has said things about him is wrong and he should be talking to Liberty to iron things out. Toby is a great friend wow."

Someone else put, "Wow, Toby has shown so much emotional maturity and growth lately, especially dealing with all of the Jake stuff. His #LoveIsland journey has been transformative."

We love to see it.
