Former Love Islanders Hugo Hammond and Amy Day got into an argument over the weekend after he accused her of "using him".

To recap, the pair coupled up in Casa Amor but were dumped from the Main Villa just a few days later. The couple then reunited on Sunday's (August 8) episode of Aftersun and went on a prerecorded date before facing each other in a live interview.

On the date, Amy confronted Hugo and accused him of wasting her time and treating Casa Amor like a "lads holiday". She also branded her ex "fake" but he disagreed with everything she had to say.

During their live interview, Hugo himself then referred to his time away from the Main Villa as a "lads holiday", much to Amy's annoyance. She clapped back at him, saying he's "just terrible with women."

Amy continued, "I don’t think he knows what to say," and then called him out for always claiming to be "true to himself."

"Can you not be true to everyone else at the same time?" she asked.

Hugo replied: "It makes me really sad that it’s got to this point and you feel this way. I don’t agree, but if that’s what you feel."

But Amy wasn't happy with his response, and instead admitted she regrets putting all her eggs in Hugo's basket. "I’m an idiot!" she said.

When asked if they thought they could remain friends, Amy's face said it all as she pulled an expression much like the one she did when Hugo referred to his Love Island journey as "tragic."

But the final blow came when Hugo said, "I just felt like a green card to the villa."

"Amy’s clearly got a strong opinion but I think people are forgetting that Amy chose to stay in Tyler’s bed on night one, so she wasn’t into me from the start and I just felt like a green card to the villa," he continued.

"That is the first time you’ve said that – how funny," Amy replied, while Hugo claimed he'd said it on their date but that it wasn't aired.

Awks. Safe to say these two are officially over then.
