Love Island viewers have taken to social media to express a LOT of opinions about this year's show, whether it's to share comparisons with previous contestants, or memes about a certain break up. But there's one view point that just keeps coming up: the lack of chemistry between a fair amount of the couples.
Looking back on Love Island series of the past, it's usually an original couple who go on to win the show. First it was Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey. Then it was Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, followed by Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer.
And yet, viewers aren't sure any of this year's couples are cut out for going the distance - especially as Liberty and Jake are basically the only originals still together, and none of the others *really* seem to have chemistry going on.
"No one can convince me any of these couples actually like each other there was more chemistry in my gcse science lesson," one person wrote.
Another added, "With the lack of chemistry and genuine attraction in this villa when Casa Amor comes round every single one of them is gonna recouple #LoveIsland."
Someone else said, "I really do blame this complete and utter lack of chemistry and incompatibility on casting. The boys and girls are in different stages of life age wise, have big differences in personality, career, goals, preferences. Like what are we watching?"
Other viewers are pinning their hopes on bombshells Liam and Millie, who shared a date during an episode this week. Could they be our new King and Queen?!
