Love Island fans can't get their heads around the fact Shannon Singh was just dumped from the villa.

During the third episode of the 2021 series, producers threw in a major twist in the shape of a surprise dumping, which saw the Scottish model leaving the villa after Chloe chose to recouple with Aaron. We did not see that coming.

And by the look of social media, nor did Love Island viewers at home. "What on EARTH is going on," one person wrote, while another one added, "No because me and producers have some beef dumping the best girl after 48 hours for no reason."

A third said, "SHANNON BEING DUMPED??? WHAT THE **** ARE THE PRODUCERS PLAYING AT??? at this point throw the full season in the bin and start again #LoveIsland"

Speaking about why she signed up to the show, Shannon said in her intro interview, "It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you’re lucky enough to participate in the show, why would you not? And hopefully meet an exciting hunk."

Her exit means the existing Love Island couples are: Hugo and Sharon, Jake and Liberty, Brad and Faye, Toby and Kaz and Chloe and Aaron.

If this is the first twist Love Island is throwing at us, we can't wait to see what comes up later in the series.
