Cast your minds back to July 2020. Amid drama surrounding Kanye West’s presidential bid, KUWTK fans also noticed Kim Kardashian and long-time friend Larsa Pippen no longer seemed to be on talking terms.
The first sign of a feud between Kim and Larsa is that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. And it wasn’t just Kim who had stopped following Larsa: all the Kardashian sisters cut social media ties and she had stopped following the Kardashians.
Fans also spotted that the sisters didn't seem to attend Larsa's birthday gathering earlier that month, and neither did they post birthday messages for her on the day itself, 6th July. On top of all the Instagram unfollowing drama, Kanye West also tweeted the word "Larsa" with a thinking face emoji in a since-deleted post.
So what actually happened between the former BFFs? Four months on, Larsa has shared her side of the story during a tell-all interview with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on the Hollywood Raw podcast.
In the interview, Larsa talked about dating Tristan Thompson shortly before Khloe did and claimed Kanye West kept calling her in the early hours of the morning to "rant" so she blocked him because she "couldn’t bear taking his calls anymore". She also claimed the rapper has "brainwashed" the family.
On Tristan:
"I was kinda seeing Tristan before Khloe. Before Khloe or any of them knew he existed. I was seeing him, I had him come to LA.I brought him to a party Kim had. I introduced him to all of them. Then a week later, or 10 days later, he started seeing Khloe. Which is fine, I don't even care. It's whatever. I'm the type of person that doesn't chase what's not for me. I will never chase a man; I will never put a leash on a man. I don't do that. I feel like, let you be great. If you want to be with other people, go ahead. I'm great by myself."
On Kanye:
"I blocked him on my phone. Obviously, that really upset him. So, he turned that into, 'Oh, she's this and she’s that.' [The Kardashians] all started to ride his wave. If you’re that easily swayed, like the wind, then do I really give a f**k? Should I give a f**k? I don't know. Was I hurt by it? Yes. But at the same time, I'm like, I've done nothing. I've never done one thing. I've been the most honest and truthful best friend to all of them."
Hosts Dax and Adam also asked Larsa why she thinks Khloe and Kourtney unfollowed her on Instagram, to which she replied: “[Kanye] has literally brainwashed the whole family into thinking I don’t even know what. I don’t even know. He talks so much about me being this and that and this and that.
"I feel like I ran into Travis Scott one night at a club and Travis called Kylie and said that I was hitting on him. That never happened. So, then they were like Kanye says she’s this and then she was hitting on Travis. By the way that never happened."
