While it will never fully make up for the loss of summer Love Island 2020, the first season of Love Island Australia is definitely doing a very good job of filling that 9pm evening void right now. After watching last night's drama play out, fans are calling it the "best Love Island moment ever" and the most "savage recoupling" and, to be fair, they're really not wrong.

ICYMI, it was down to the girls to choose who they wanted to couple up with and Cassidy decided to couple up with ex Grant, who is obviously happily partnered up with Tayla. Needless to say, her decision didn't go down at all well. Viewers watching the repeat at home were left stunned:

Earlier in the show, Dom had dropped a bombshell when he revealed he didn't know if he's into Cassidy and would actually rather couple up with Millie.

"Right now, I don’t think there is anything there [with Cassidy]," he said in the Beach Hut.

"I feel like Millie is a lot of fun and I feel like I’d get on with her very well and I won’t feel like there are eyes burning in the back of my head which is how I feel with Cass."

Dom also told Cassidy's ex Grant how he was feeling and it eventually got back to Cassidy, who ended up confronting Millie and, yeah, drama.

We literally cannot wait to see how this plays out tonight.

Love Island: Australia airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
