- Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi started dating last summer.
- The Love Island couple have now split and Wes has moved out of the home they shared together.
Another day, another not entirely surprising Love Island split (what?). This time, Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi have reportedly called it quits after dating for nine months.
The Love Island '18 contestant, 22, and Love Island '19 star, 28, had only recently moved in together, but Wes has now moved all his stuff out and is said to be staying with fellow Islander Josh Denzel.
"It's all over. They started to grow apart and the age gap became really noticeable between them," a source told the Sun Online. "They want to remain civil with each other and hope to remain friends."
The insider added: "There’s been no funny business, no cheating or anything like that, it’s just fizzled out between them."
The couple started dating in July and moved in together in December, with Arabella telling her followers at the time that she had lived in her flat for eight years but was ready for a "new chapter".
"Packing completed. 8 years in this flat. Some good memories, some bad but beyond excited for this new chapter in our new home @wes.nelson," she wrote on social media.
Less than a month ago, Wes called Arabella "the one" as they celebrated her birthday.
Alongside a picture of them looking all in love on a luxury holiday together, he sweetly wrote: "My mum has always said when you find the right one you’ll just know...it’s safe to say I’ve found my one! 🙏🏾 Happy birthday to my better half @arabellachi you’re something else 🖤 and yes our birthdays are a day apart 😅🤷🏾♂️."
What a difference a month makes, eh?
