Ovie Soko has admitted that he was never a part of the Love Island 2019 alumni WhatsApp group, and we're not crying, you're crying.

Despite the fact that Maura recently revealed the group is pretty much dead in the water, we're still feeling pretty gutted for 2019 finalist Ovie, who never even got to try it out in the first place.

Speaking at the launch of his ASOS collection event earlier this week, Ovie told Metro : "A lot of people have been asking about this Love Island WhatsApp group...

"This seems to be the thing. I mean, I've got everyone's numbers from Love Island, but I'm not part of any group.

"So maybe there's a group out there that I'm not part of... Are you telling me I should be part of the group?"

Last week, Ovie was caught up in drama when his girlfriend India was accused of cheating on him with footballer Kieran Gibbs. However, a representative for India added that the claims are “absolutely not true. They've been friends for years”.

But despite all of that, Ovie is still on top of the world thanks to his new collection with ASOS. And who needs WhatsApp groups when you're building an empire?
