Love Island's Francesca hints at villa mean girls: 'I was not given a warm welcome'

Francesca Allen has been revealing all sorts of Love Island secrets since leaving the villa. As well as giving her theory on why Jordan Hames' head turned from Anna Vakili - and dishing on the surprising couple she thinks will survive on the outside - she's also opened up about experiencing some mean girl vibes.

Speaking to MailOnline, Francesca said she was made to feel like an "outsider" during her time in the villa, and that it was a "shame" that it took people so long to warm to her.

She went on to discuss how Ovie put her at ease during her time on the show, and welcomed her with open arms. "Ovie is the realest person in there, I got along with him so well, he's on such a level, he was one of my good friends out of all the boys," she said.

"I struggled quite a lot when I first went in there, I didn’t have the warmest of welcomes, seeing as I was so excited to get to know everyone and get chatting. So Ovie really helped me through everything, he was like, 'It's alright, it's just like that at first'."

Francesca also addressed feeling like an outside 'outsider', continuing: "I did a little, it was a shame it took them a little while to warm to me, I’m not a horrible person - I would always make everyone and anyone feel welcome.

"I am too laid back as a person, I should have voiced it to the girls that I’m feeling left out and things like that... when I didn’t, I sort of stayed quiet. I had Joanna and Belle, they are lovely."

As for rumours that Maura was making comments about her behind her back? "Someone told me she was kind of making comments behind my back but I hadn’t seen that to my face… I don’t really know what they were, but yeah, I thought we were [friends]," she finished.
