Miley Cyrus' International Women's Day tributes celebrating a bunch of female celebrities already received responses from Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Hailey Baldwin, and more. But Cyrus also got rare replies from two very special people from her Disney days: friend Selena Gomez and ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

"Your generation = 7 Rings MY generation = 7 Things πŸ’7οΈβƒ£πŸ’7οΈβƒ£πŸ’7οΈβƒ£πŸ’7οΈβƒ£πŸ’ Simpler times. @selenagomez #MillenialsVSGenZ," Cyrus wrote in her initial caption. The video contained footage of her singing "7 Things" with Gomez when they were just teens. Gomez and their friend (and fellow Disney darling) Demi Lovato both left comments on Cyrus' 'gram.

But the real surprises were Cyrus' ex Nick Jonas slipping into Cyrus' DMs, and Cyrus very publicly sharing a screenshot on her permanent grid. Cyrus posted a glimpse of their exchange with this caption: 'That moment when even your ex knows your socials have been πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯'

Jonas was very sweet about the photos, writing, 'Amazing. These throwback shots have been πŸ”₯'

And now Nick's wife Priyanka has got involved, and it could definitely be interpreted as some major shade (but we reckon she's probably just in on the joke).

β€œLol. Hahaha...Hubby is right. These posts r πŸ”₯” she wrote.

In her first interview addressing their breakup, Cyrus explained that she and Jonas dated for about two years, but things got hard.

'Nick and I loved each other,' Cyrus told Seventeen in its August 2008 issue. 'We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.'

Ah, young love.

Also getting involved in the comments were Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. Gomez purposely doesn't spend much time on Instagram, but the singer was on the platform earlier today to promote her new music video 'I Can't Get Enough.' Gomez posted two Instagrams about the video, then took a moment to comment on the Instagram Cyrus tagged her in yesterday.

'Iconic,' Lovato wrote, with an applause emoji. 'tbt -such babies,' Gomez wrote, adding two pink hearts.

Honestly, living for these throwbacks.
