Wait a minute... are the Love Island gang secretly tucking into McDonald’s?

Jack Fowler was spotted by eagle-eyed fans drinking from a McDonald’s cup on the show, and the internet imploded over it.

One fan wrote: "Haha! WTF who needed the hangover cure?!"

Another wrote: "Love Island slipped up again."

Seems that those chicken nuggets are just too irresistible for life.

The question is, what was Jack drinking from the cup? He doesn’t strike us as a Diet Coke man. And who knows if they do milkshakes in Spain - which really should be what he was drinking.

But how are the crew getting to the Maccers? The villa’s a secluded place and Jack Fincham, Dani Dyer and co are only normally let out for the odd glass of sangria or awkward date in a nearby vineyard.

It’s been known for a while that the cast only have to make themselves breakfast, and that lunch and dinner are catered for them (lucky or what?). But McDonald’s is a whole new ball game.

A spokesperson for Love Island told MailOnline: “Food is brought in for the islanders or it is prepared within the villa.”

And it’s not the only odd thing that fans have noticed on screen.

Last night fans picked up on Dani’s darker-looking hair and new bright pink manicure.

Seems like the producers might have brought in a beauty squad in secret. We see everything.

A spokesperson confirmed: “All the girls have recently had hair and beauty treatments in the villa.”

Seriously going to apply for the show next week if this little lot is on the menu.
