If there's one makeup brand that gets a resounding *gasp* of excitement whenever the name is mentioned, it's REFY Beauty. Nearly every beauty editor, friend or family member I know has at least one REFY product in their bag. It's the epitome of 'cool girl' makeup.

The brand launched in 2020 with a petite collection of eyebrow products, all designed to carve and sculpt fluffy arches, even if you don't have the natural fullness of the brand's founder Jess Hunt.

Today, the line-up is still considered, with only a small assortment of products to shop, but everything is designed to serve a genuine purpose in your makeup bag. When you have a mooch through the collection, notice that every product is meticulously designed to help enhance or define your already perfect natural features. Nothing is too heavy or created to give you a suspiciously flawless complexion; it's all about creamy and skin-loving formulas.

Cosmo REFY review

REFY Face Cleanse

REFY Face Cleanse

Face Cleanse

When I found out that REFY was stepping into skincare, my first thought was, 'Why didn't this come sooner?' Think about it: REFY is all about glossy skin and makeup that looks like your natural complexion, so this move seemed right.

The Face Cleanse is the first step in the brand's two-step skincare launch. REFY describes it as a '2-in-1 daily cleanser that instantly removes 100% of makeup and hydrates your skin', so if dehydration is your biggest skincare woe, you need to jump on board. The cleanser applies like a silky serum but transforms into a light foam when mixed with water. Where many cleansers fall short by stripping the skin, this formula – thanks to an ingredient called Trealix – keeps the skin feeling supple and never tight. And, of course, hydrated and radiant skin will give your foundation a stunning finish, too.

REFY Face Sculpt

REFY Face Sculpt

Face Sculpt

I can truthfully say I have never seen a moisturiser like this. In true REFY style, this is where skincare meets an at-home facial as the cream is fitted with a roller that massages the formula into your skin. Groundbreaking, I know.

IMO, I don't think this launch could have come at a better time. It seems the world is still obsessed with the idea of facial sculpting, whether that's through a gua sha or techy device. So, a facial sculpting moisturiser is a brilliant way to smooth out puffiness and retention in your face (hello jawline!), while giving your complexion a radiant glow.

As for the impressive ingredients list, the lightweight cream features glycerin and mushroom extract to boost hydration, while the brand's Inst’Tight™ blend is said to tighten the skin. No need for my morning espresso; this will wake me up just as much!

REFY Skin Trio SPF50

REFY Skin Trio SPF50

Skin Trio SPF50

I'm a beauty writer who hates putting on sunscreen, but REFY's Skin Trio has made the impossible possible (and not just for the 'I-want-to-show-everyone-how-chic-I -am' packaging).

Putting the word 'multi-task' to hard work, the three-in-one cream protects, hydrates and illuminates in one go. When I first pumped out the product, the peachy hue took me a little off guard but, after blending, I realised that it's cleverly designed to brighten and smooth the overall appearance of the skin – sort of like adding a pre-base to your base.

There's also the SPF 50 protection – yay! – the cream uses mineral filters to block UV rays without feeling heavy on the skin. Stock me till 2026, pls.

REFY Blur and Hydrate Primer

REFY Blur and Hydrate Primer

Blur and Hydrate Primer

Spoiler alert but REFY already has an exceptional primer that I love (read below for more deets). Now, REFY has two exceptional primers that I love. The Blur and Hydrate Primer works differently from the Glow and Sculpt. It's here for all of us oily folk who crave a blurred and poreless result, but still want to prioritise hydration.

The silky cream – yes, it's not silicone-based! – glides on like a moisturiser, removing shine and the appearance of texture as you blend. The day I used it, my foundation looked noticeably smoother and lasted longer, too. My only niggle? It doesn't smell great but keep going as the finish is worth it.

REFY Face Setter

REFY Face Setter

Face Setter

Bathe me in this, seriously. REFY has finally jumped onto the setting spray wagon and I was so thankful that this launch didn’t disappoint.

Starting with the spritz – it’s an important part after all – the bottle dispenses a super-fine mist that softly settles without feeling like your face has been tidal-waved in product. As for its longevity, the Face Setter keeps my foundation and bronzer in place all day and it gives my complexion a healthy dewiness, too.

REFY Concealer

REFY's concealer aims to brighten and blur, all thanks to an incredibly lightweight serum formula that doesn’t crease – oh, and did I mention it's available in 24 shades? I gave it a good go, choosing both an under-eye shade and something to cover acne scars, and I can confirm... the hype is real.

What has kept me hooked is how perfect the finish is: it's not matte, nor dewy, but it sits right in-between for a natural look. Dabbing a lighter shade under my eyes helps to elevate and lift while a deeper shade conceals dark spots or areas of unevenness. Best of all, even with a serum-like consistency it survives sweaty tube journeys and 9-5 working days without creasing.

REFY Lash Sculpt

Refy Lash Sculpt

Lash Sculpt

REFY's mascara wand is unlike any other I've seen. Not like your traditional cylindrical shape, Lash Sculpt has a curved, slim and slightly daunting-looking wand that, frankly, doesn't look like something you'd wanna put near your eye.

But, because anything in the name of beauty or whatever, I gave it a go and haven't looked back since. The curved shape fits snugly around the natural curvature of your eye, helping to lift and define the lashes without the wand smudging against the corner of your eye. The finish isn't dramatic, nor will it give mega-volume, but rather lengthens and separates the hairs to deliver brow-skimming lashes.

REFY Brow Sculpt

REFY Brow Sculpt

Brow Sculpt

When REFY launched its Brow Sculpt, it may have been the brow gel to end all brow gels. In just a few strokes the product holds down your hairs to deliver a laminated effect, and keeps them in place without going stiff.

As the consistency is almost similar to PVA glue, less is more when it comes to application. Start at your inner brow and gradually brush through in upward diagonal strokes. Then, use the handy dual-ended brush to comb those bad boys out.

REFY Brow Pomade

REFY Brow Pomade

Brow Pomade

The last time I had a brow pomade in my makeup bag was when the ABH Dip Brow was carving out my block brows in 2016. While that was a great pick for the look of the time, the natural approach took over and a precise pencil became the desired tool.

Still a natural brow girlie, I was a little dubious to try the Brow Pomade, but the fluffy results proved I had nothing to worry about. The dual-ended applicator houses a little pot of pomade that glides over the skin, while the brush creates the illusion of natural brow hairs. I am pleased to say, a pomade has now made a reappearance in my makeup bag.

REFY Brow Pencil

REFY Brow Pencil

Brow Pencil

A brow pencil with an ultra-fine tip is a staple in my makeup bag, and oh how REFY have delivered. With such a teeny tiny pencil, you would never expect the amount of pigment that transfers onto your skin.

The smooth, creamy formula makes applying the product easy. Just use a very light hand and an upwards-flicking motion to fill in the sparse areas of your brows. To really achieve that REFY look, only apply the product to the areas where you need it and leave your natural hairs to do the rest.

REFY Face Primer

REFY Face Primer

Face Primer

Hybrid skincare makeup hybrids are slowly becoming the norm, so it’s logical that the Face Primer followed suit. It’s infused with niacinamide to protect your skin from pollutants, and glycerin, the most popular humectant for hydration. Because of the super hydrating formula, the primer creates a base which genuinely encourages dewy, natural-looking skin.

The applicator deserves some attention too. You glide it onto your skin, like a paint roller to a wall, and it dispenses an even amount of the silky serum to then massage into the skin.

REFY Cream Bronzer

REFY Cream Bronzer

Cream Bronzer

Cream bronzers are a tricky one to navigate. They’re either too muddy, too warm toned or too stiff that blending them into your foundation seems impossible. If you're starting to lose faith in the trusty cream, look to this pot of buttery goodness.

REFY's Cream Bronzer seamlessly melts into the skin and will have people curiously wondering if you're wearing makeup or if you've spent two weeks in the Med. It's the kind of glossy glow that Jess Hunt is so famous for, and comes in a variety of tones so you can find your flattering shade.

REFY Cream Blush

REFY Cream Blush

Cream Blush

The REFY Cream Blushes may be diddy, but they pack a pigmented punch. All that's needed is a small tap across the cheeks to deliver a dewy and plump pop of colour. The texture has a slight tackiness to it (but in a good way, obvs) which means you can layer the product while still keeping a natural flush to your cheeks.

There's a shade to suit everyone, too. Peach and Citrine (my current faves) are corals which pair nicely with the Cream Bronzer to deliver a golden glow. Rose and Malaya are pinker in hue, so ideal for a more subtle flushed look.

REFY Lip Sculpt

REFY Lip Sculpt

Lip Sculpt

This compact lip duo comes with a fine-tip pencil and setter. When both are applied, it leaves a velvety matte-like finish without the well-known cakey texture that often comes with matte lips.

Start by shaping your lips using the pencil (don’t be afraid to scribble out the lines for fuller-looking lips), and follow with the setter to keep the product in place. Despite having a silicone base, I enjoyed the buttery feeling of the setter which keeps the liner in place to prove its 10-hour wearability claim.

REFY Duo Brush

REFY Duo Brush

Duo Brush

What’s better than one brush? A double-ended one. My makeup bag is never without REFY’s Duo Brush – it’s my go-to for achieving a seamless, streak-free application, which, trust me, isn’t always easy.

This brush features a mix of two super-soft bristles. I personally love using it for both bronzer and blush. The larger, stippling end is perfect for blending out just the right amount of bronzer, ensuring it never picks up too much product. Meanwhile, the smaller, dense end is a game-changer for adding a flawless pop of colour to the cheeks.
