You learn something new every day and today, we're enrolling in hair school to educate ourselves on Kelly Rowland's graduated bob – aka, the perfect style for those with finer lengths. Let class commence!

Ahead of the annual Golden Globe awards, the Destiny's Child singer attended the Paramount Golden Globe Nominee Celebrations in California [January 4, 2025]. For such an event, Kelly debuted a brand new chin-grazing hairstyle and it's one that holds plenty a volume at the root.

Feathered out towards the chin, this style is best known as the graduated bob. In comparison to a layered bob, the former is shorter at the back and is usually cut to replicate the shape of the neck. Unlike traditional layers, which are typically cut into soft tiers, graduated lengths are cut at an angle for a sharper, more gradual finish. This cutting and styling technique is ideal for those wanting more natural volume in their hair.

Kiyah Wright, Kelly's hairstylist and the genius behind her look shared a video reel on Instagram to show the look in all its glory:

I mean, would you just look at the bounce and shine on those strands?! Someone fetch me a pair of sunnies because this 'do is ✨blinding✨.

Completing the glam squad came makeup artist Adam Burrell who opted to give Kelly a sunkissed glow. The glossy lips, bronzed eyes and gleaming body shimmer all scream red carpet ready.

Everyone's clicking on...

Now, all we need is for both Adam and Kiyah to drop tutorials and we'll be living out our best Kelly Rowland fantasy. Say My Name, Say My Name, 'n' all that...
