Looks like some pretty wild revelations are coming out of the Summer House Season 10 reunion, and we’re not just talking about what was said in the audio leak. According to TMZ, Amanda Batula admitted that she and West Wilson used ChatGPT to write their statement (you know, the one where they admitted to secretly dating).
Per the outlet, Amanda and West’s “costars took issue with the statement they shared online in March and were harping about who could have possibly written it for them. Amanda apparently made light of the situation, telling her angry cast mates ChatGPT penned the announcement.”
In case you’d forgotten the statement and/or blocked it out, the newly minted couple wrote, “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
They added, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care. As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
As you might have noticed, the statement didn’t include an apology to Ciara Miller or Kyle Cooke, and didn’t acknowledge the fact that they lied to their castmates. Choices were made!
