Allie Eklund is speaking out after Steven McBee Jr. of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys accused her of cheating on him at a Stagecoach party.
“This is really sad to see and I'm genuinely at a loss for words,” she said. “Posting everything online before we talked is extremely disheartening and extremely unfair considering I've protected Steven many times during the course of our relationship. Because my integrity has been called into question, I'll post the video that Steven was sent while I was at Stagecoach with a group of friends. I chose not to respond to him immediately because he has a history of verbally abusing me while he's in a heightened emotional state and I felt it was more appropriate to have a private, level headed conversation once emotions had settled.”
Allie continued, “Unfortunately, that opportunity wasn't given to me before he decided to make this situation public and it's even more disappointing that he made references to promote his tv show, as this situation is very real for me and my family, who prefer to live privately. I don't typically feel the need to defend myself online and it's genuinely upsetting that it's reached this point. I've handled everything in this relationship privately and with respect, even when it hasn't been easy.”
She ended the statement with, “This situation is painful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'm not looking to escalate things any further, I'd like this to end here. I've said what feels necessary in response to his actions and I plan on taking time to process and move forward.”
Allie went on to release the video footage in question, and posted a screenshot of messages calling her names and accusing her of hooking up with “every guy possible.”
Her statement comes in response to Steven publishing a DM from someone who wrote “Look, I maybe looking into things but as a friend to you, she seemed realllllly close with a guy. Like not in a respectful way to you or your relationship, unless he was gay and they were friends. But holding hands and dancing in front of him when we were at ludacris.”
He captioned the screenshot of the DM with “Left a day early because I have a real responsibilities. Just got two other calls about this situation as well. Damn. Embarrassing to put this out there but figured there’s no reason to gatekeep.”
Steven followed this up with a video expressing regret for airing their drama in public, which you can watch below.
