Sorry to those who were looking forward to Kyle Cooke and Meghan King’s potential star-crossed Bravo love story, but it seems that the Summer House star isn’t in his lover boy era just yet.

After he was spotted kissing the Real Housewives of Orange County alum at an event hosted by Page Six and Nine West on Thursday, April 16, sources for Us Weekly claim that Kyle is just “doing his thing” and isn’t “ready for anything serious” after his split from Amanda Batula earlier this year.

The Us Weekly insider noted that Kyle is “putting himself out there” and wants to have a good time, adding, “Kyle has been flirting with different women on his nights out. Nothing over the top, just easing his way back into the scene”—and that’s what seems to be the case, per Page Six’s footage of Kyle and Meghan.

The source also doubled down on that, adding that their smooch was “random” and meant “nothing.”

This all comes in the wake of Kyle’s ex, Amanda, confirming hookup rumors and exploring a romantic connection with their Summer House castmate, West Wilson. The pair was recently spotted sharing a smooch on the kiss cam of a New York Yankees game on Saturday, April 18.

Kyle seemingly shaded Amanda and West and reacted to the clip when interacting with Summer House fans on Threads, writing, “Was not prepared to see that. And that. And that,” with a throwing up emoji.

Their castmate and Hamptons newbie, Mia Calabrese, also weighed in, adding, “Kyle I left you for 1 hour….”

As for where he stands with Amanda, Kyle told journalist Adam Glyn on April 2, “I’m giving Amanda grace because I just know she, from a mental standpoint, is fragile. Right now, I’m more concerned about Amanda’s mental health than trying to get to the bottom of it because I’m worried about her. I don’t think West is in a place to offer her what she needs.”
