Ness is the General Manager of the Waves and mellow middle Gordon sibling.

MacArthur played Jimmy on The Mick and Scotty(/The Devil, NBD) on The Righteous Gemstones. He was on Craig Robinson’s show Killing It. His film credits include No Hard Feelings, El Camino, and Halloween Kills.He’s also part of the buzzy Spider-Noir series coming to Amazon Prime Video later this year.

Jackie used to work concessions until he found out he was a Gordon half-sibling.

Guido had a recurring role on the HBO Perry Mason reboot as well as Welcome to the Family and played Mickey on Mr. Iglesias. He voiced Pizza Rat in We Bare Bears: The Movie and is cast in Stephen Merchant’s upcoming and untitled romantic comedy starring Cameron Diaz.

Ali is the chief of staff for the Waves and Isla’s college BFF.

Song is an iconic former Disney kid you know from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (and The Suite Life On Deck), Phil of the Future, Get a Clue, Stuck in the Suburbs, and Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior to name a few. She was also in the basketball family film Like Mike. As an adult, you know her from Dollface, Station 19, Scandal, and New Girl.

Lev is Isla’s fiancè. Or is he? He is. Right? Maybe. We’ll see!

Since playing Schmidt on New Girl, Greenfield has been starring on the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood alongside Cedric the Entertainer. He also has a recurring role on A Man On The Inside. Before all of that, he was Leo D’Amato on Veronica Mars and Nick Pepper on Ugly Betty and his big screen credits include They Came Together and The Big Short.

Travis is a wildcard point guard on the Waves.

Famously the son of Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks (in that order), Hanks is an actor, model, musician, and white boy summer enthusiast. He had recurring roles on Shameless, Your Honor, and Empire prior to this series and also appeared as himself on The Surreal Life.

Marcus is the Waves’ star player, kind of like the Roy Kent of Running Point.

Sanderman is an actual two time gold medalist sprinter in the 200 metre dash. As an actor, prior to Running Point he starred in Power Book III: Raising Kanan and The Game and played Prince Sebastian Idrisi on The Royals.

Jay is a the former coach of the Waves and crush Isla can’t quite kick.

Ellis starred in Insecure as Lawrence and played “Payback” in Top Gun: Maverick. He was also in shows like History of the World: Part II (playing Jesus, NBD), Mrs. America, and The Game. He additionally starred in the moody romantic comedy Somebody That I Used To Know with Alison Brie, the horror movie Escape Room and the action comedy Freaky Tales.

Charlie is a former actor, current dog groomer, and Sandy’s boyfriend.

Evans was one of many (just) Kens in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and played a cop named Oliver Fish on 137 episodes of One Life To Live. He must really have an Oliver face, because his character on Grace & Frankie also had that name. In addition to that, his film credits include Confessions of a Shopaholic, Playing it Cool, Lily & Kat, and Almost Love.

Murphy is an antagonistic sports podcaster.

Glaser also played an antagonistic City Councilman, Jeremy Jamm, on Parks and Recreation. You might know him from Single Drunk Female, working and writing on sketch shows like Inside Amy Schumer and The Dana Carvey Show, as Laird on Girls, or from his many years working and writing on Late Night With Conan O’Brien.

Stinson is a veteran coach Isla brings back to the Waves.

Romano is, I would assume obviously, the titular star of Everybody Loves Raymond. He won three Emmy Awards for starring in and producing the long-running sitcom. He also wrote and starred in the sitcom Men of a Certain Age. If you need an excuse to watch Made For Love on HBO, he’s great in that as well. Younger-ish audiences know him as the voice of Manny in the Ice Age movies or as Hank on Parenthood. Other acclaimed film appearances include The Big Sick and The Irishman.

Leroy is Cam’s sober companion he met in rehab.

Anderson is best known as one of the stars and creators of Workaholics with Anders Holm and Adam Devine. From 2020-2022 he was on the Hulu series Woke. He has also guest-starred on shows like Community, House, Entourage, Arrested Development, Parks and Recreation, The Big Bang Theory, and Abbott Elementary.

Fleischman is a megarich plumbing entrepreneur who wants better court-side seats.

Marino is the kind of comedy genius with too many good credits to name. But I will try.
