As a long-time Halloween Horror Nights pro, we already know that it’s that time of year where fans get ready to see what these talented and slightly twisted creators have come up with for another year of fears and screams. And while they’ve collaborated with icons like The Weeknd and brought horror legends like Chucky and Jason Voohees, their latest announcement is turning a recent fan favorite into the house of our biggest nightmares.
The Oscar-winning film Sinners will be coming to both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood for an immersive haunted house (also known as mazes in Hollywood) that will transport fans to Club Juke for a scary good time.
According to Universal Studios, “they will quickly realize that nothing is as it seems when nefarious, red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert and Joan appear with their insatiable hunger. As they attempt to evade the vampires at every turn, fans will encounter some of their favorite characters lifted straight from the film, including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline and Cornbread. Caught in a deadly struggle between twins Smoke and Stack and the bloodthirsty vampires, guests must survive the night— because the terror will only relent once the sun rises.”
While, unfortunately, Michael B. Jordan won’t be in the parks playing twins Smoke and Stack, at least we can experience the film in a new way as we try to channel our inner Sammie and also enjoy the film’s incredible soundtrack as it blasts through the house.
This marks only the second house that has been announced for the year, after “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control” featuring two original HHN characters were revealed earlier this year. Other houses will be announced later this year.
So grab your guitar and get ready to dance with the devil. We dare you to try to make it until sunrise.
