Remember the other day when Taylor Swift spent almost nine hours in New York City’s Electric Lady Studios, igniting speculation that she’s secretly working on her 13th album? About that!
A source is out here claiming that Taylor was actually recording a “sweet ballad” with a “hypnotic chorus” for Travis Kelce, which she plans to serenade him with at their upcoming wedding.
“Taylor is creating a beautiful love song for her future husband. She has been writing it for the past few weeks, she's very excited about it,” an insider tells the Daily Mail. “The lyrics will be about what makes their relationship click and will hint at the special, private moments they have had together.”
According to this person, Taylor could perform the song at her wedding, and even release it to the public that day. As they put it, “It seems like Taylor has been recording the song in New York City as a single to be released on her wedding day, that sounds like a move she'd make, but who knows. Blake Shelton released his wedding song for Gwen, ‘We Can Reach the Stars,’ and put it on one of his albums, so it's been done before. There has been talk that she will record an entire wedding album, but that is a lot, who know. Taylor writes really fast, though, and she has a zillion ideas, so it would not be hard for her.”
If all of this seems like a reach to you, you’re not alone. Another source tells the Daily Mail, “People are anticipating performances at the wedding from some of her famous friends and there's been some speculation of her performing as well. She's always writing and recording, but if she were writing a song for Travis, that's not something she'd share with a lot of people. That's just not her style.”
Guess we’ll see what happens on July 3!
