A year and a half after they first sparked dating rumors, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are taking their romance to the next level. On Christmas Eve 2024, the pop star posted an IG photo dump featuring a pic of herself wearing a sparkler on *that* finger...and during a July 2025 cover story for British Vogue, she officially confirmed Callum popped the question.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” Dua shared. “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling.”
As for her sparkler, Callum reportedly got it custom-made for the pop star after consulting her best friends and sister, Rina Lipa. “I’m obsessed with it,” Dua added. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

During an interview with The Sunday Times, Callum reveals how he and Dua first met over drinks before a mutual friend’s birthday party in Los Angeles.
“We sat next to each other and realized we were reading the same book, which is crazy,” he told the publication.“It’s called Trust [by Hernán Díaz] and I had just finished the first chapter and I told her and she looked at me and said, ‘I just finished the first chapter too.’ I said, ‘So we’re on the same page.’”
He added that the moment felt like something out of a Hollywood romcom. “In the movie version of it, I look up to the sky and I’m like, I hear you. I understand. The signs are loud, don’t worry. And that was really the first [moment]," he said.
