We're used to popping into Aldi for our weekly shop, browsing the different food special buys and saving a lot of money on our groceries. But this week we'll also be swinging by the supermarket as they've just released their latest homeware drop, inspired by the coastal chic aesthetic and picking up their ecru bedspread.

The new coastal collection is right on trend for the summer with nautical homeware having a real moment. The new collection features woven trays, jute rugs and lobster print mugs, and easily our favourite piece is the ecru bedspread.

The bedspread is just £9.99 and is in a coastal inspired ecru shade, that gives a super luxurious feel but for the fraction of the price to a similar designer item.

A bed spread is the perfect homeware accessory to complete your bed, providing added texture and interest to a duvet set, and cushions. While thick in appearance, it's still light-weight making it easy to move around.

With its neutral tone it will work for a variety of bed set ups, but if you really want to carry on the coastal feel, we'd pair the bed spread with a dusky blue duvet cover and matching pillowcases, and finished with nautical stripes or seashell print cushions.

Everyone's clicking on...

If you're not a fan of the ecru shade, the bedspread is also available in a grey shade. Both bedspreads will be available in Aldi stores from today (2nd July)

So that's one bedspread alongside our groceries this week!
