These days, it’s rare to see Zendaya off-duty. So whenever we’re blessed to get a paparazzi photo of her out and about, I’m immediately locked in, taking notes. It’s even rarer to catch her wearing something that falls on the more affordable end of the spectrum. Recently, she was spotted in London taking a stroll with her husband (!!), Tom Holland, wearing a pair of Le Specs sunglasses that are still in stock—and somehow cost just $75. As a follower and fan of the style muse, I certainly don’t take these moments for granted.
She was wearing the Honey Pot Black Brown Mono, a slim, rectangular design with softly rounded corners and thin temples. The lenses have a lightly tinted, almost shadeless look that offers sun protection while still allowing her eyes to peek through—a trend we’ve been seeing a lot this season.
The whole shadeless-shades look isn’t new, of course. It’s been around for decades, but right now, it’s having another major moment in fashion—and it gives off absolute It Girl energy. If you’ve ever wanted to be the kind of mysterious, effortlessly cool person who wears sunglasses indoors but can’t quite commit because they completely mess with your vision, these are the perfect middle ground…and, dare I say, the cooler version.
I especially love these for their midsize shape—not too big, not too small—and their boxy frame, which gives them a sophisticated yet edgy look. The brownish-yellow tint also makes them easy to style, especially with more neutral-colored outfits. Z has officially put me on with these!
