In that very same photo, my nail-obsessed self couldn’t help but notice Hailey’s coastal blue manicure holding up her phone.
The shade has been a major trend for summer, “I think sky blue encapsulates that super chill, super breezy summer vibe that can be really comforting and calming to wear,” L.A.-based nail artist Sigourney Nuñez told Cosmo. “If you can't physically be on the coast all summer long, at least your nails can.” Personally, that's exactly the type of energy I'm trying to channel for the rest of the season.
And while you might typically resort to a light pink or white polish on your toes in the summer, coastal blue is far more versatile than you’d expect. Hailey wore the aquatic shade on both her manicure and pedicure, snapping a photo of her matching toes alongside what appear to be Justin’s blue sneakers with the caption, "Blues." The envy-inducing sweet detail also seems to be a nod to the couple's son, Jack Blues Bieber.
