Unexpectedly, our summer 2026 manicure moodboard is giving 50 shades of beige, and I’m not complaining. During the months when loud nail art and dopamine brights are typically expected, A-list celebs are slipping into a neutral era. First came milky rosé, then coconut latte, proving that summer 2026 is the time and place for simple nails. Now, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez are adding another luxe nude to the conversation, courtesy of celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik.

Over the weekend, Tom shared his latest manicure creations on Instagram, which we’re ~pretty~ sure were created for Taylor Swift’s wedding celebrations. His clients J.Lo and Selena Gomez, both opted for timeless, glossy manicures.

In the caption of his post, Tom dubbed the shimmering, champagne-toned look “champagne silk”—a soft neutral with a glossy, light-catching finish. Of course, it’s stunning, but the best part is its versatility; it’s exactly the kind of manicure that pairs as well with a black-tie wedding as it does with a Tuesday morning oat latte.

Our feeds may be dominated by colorful vacation nails, but if celebs have anything to say about it, July 2026 is all for understated quiet luxury, and TBH, we’re not mad about it.

So, if you’re in the market for a set that works for all occasions (and is forgiving on grow-out thanks to its neutral hue), look no further. "Champagne silk, please!" we collectively ask our nail techs.
