Showing she can slay in real life as well as she does on True Blood, Anna Paquin set the record straight on how sexuality works during her recent interview on Larry King Now. When the journalist asked if she had been bisexual (now that she's "happily monogamously married" to Stephen Moyer), she immediately attacked the word choice. "I don't think it's a past-tense thing," she told him.
"Are you still straight if you're with somebody? I mean, that doesn't mean you're not — you know, if you were to break up with them or they were to die, you know, it doesn't prevent your sexuality from existing! ... It doesn't really work like that."
She said all this so pleasantly, smile intact, that the takedown was endearingly flawless. Watch the exchange at the 11-minute mark below.
