Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, just welcomed their third child, and she’s here to shake up the royal line of succession!

Eugenie and Jack announced the arrival of their daughter earlier this week, and released a statement on Instagram saying, “Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie. 💓💓💓💓💓” (Side note: The Palace also released a statement saying, “Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”)

And due to being a casual royal, Baby Girl Brooksbank is officially in line to the throne. Although there are a lot of people in front of her. The full order of succession goes:

  1. Prince William
  2. Prince George
  3. Princess Charlotte
  4. Prince Louis
  5. Prince Harry
  6. Prince Archie
  7. Princess Lilibet
  8. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
  9. Princess Beatrice
  10. Sienna Mapelli Mozzi
  11. Athena Mapelli Mozzi
  12. Princess Eugenie
  13. August Brooksbank
  14. Ernest Brooksbank

“Baby Girl Brooksbank” comes in after her two older brothers at number 15! She’s followed by Prince Edward and his children, then Princess Anne and her children (and grandchildren), and then David Armstrong-Jones. He’s the first royal in the line of succession who’s not a descendant of Queen Elizabeth II and is the son of her younger sister, Princess Margaret. Her daughter and grandchildren are also in the line, and then it branches out to Queen Elizabeth’s cousin Prince Richard and his family.
