Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce invited hundreds of people to their lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden, but it doesn’t look like Jaime King or her son (who is Taylor Swift’s godson) showed up, leading to speculation among fans.

While Taylor hasn’t said anything about her wedding guest list (or the ceremony in general *patiently waits for photos*), Jaime’s publicist released a statement about her son, Leo, missing the event, telling the Daily Mail that he’s “still too young for a large adult wedding celebration.”

The rep added that Jaime and Leo “were able to joyfully celebrate Taylor and Kelce’s marriage in his own very special, age-appropriate way during his summer break” and that “The reason Jaime chose Taylor as Leo Thames’s godmother is because they both believe that being a godmother is a deeply personal and spiritual commitment that has nothing to do with public appearances.”

So, reading between the lines, it sounds like Jaime and Taylor are, in fact, in touch still—despite not being seen together in several years.

Last year, a source told The Sun that “Taylor and Jaime are not close anymore and don’t talk but there is still love.” They added that Taylor sends Leo gifts on special occasions and would “be there in a heartbeat” if he needed anything, noting “She has always taken her godmother role and duties very seriously and is the most caring and thoughtful person Jaime could’ve asked to be there for Leo. But their relationship is a lot different now than it was back when Jaime asked Taylor to be his godmother. There is no regular contact.”

Jaime told E! News in 2015, “I always thought if I were to have another child that she would be the ideal godmother because the way she not only treats me but the way she treats other human beings. She’s so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart and she’s incredibly brave and authentic. It's a very rare thing to come across. I know that [our baby] will always have a very good person and role model through her.”
