Liam Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, has spoken out for the first time following his death. The 25-year-old has shared an Instagram Story thanking social media users for their kind words.
"Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private," Kate put.
Earlier this week, Liam, who was just 31 years old, tragically fell from a balcony while staying at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Fans have since gathered outside the property to mourn his loss together.
Continuing, Kate wrote: "Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam. 444 ❤️"
The influencer's statement was shared an hour before Cheryl, Liam's ex-girlfriend, also shared a post. The pair share a 7-year-old son together, Bear Payne. "As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time, I'd like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being. Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our 7 year old son. A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again," the 41-year-old wrote.
