Former member of One Direction Liam Payne, 31, has died after falling from a third floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, police in the area have shared.
According to reports from Reuters and CNN, the singer was staying at the CasaSur Palmero Hotel in the Palermo neighbourhood of the capital of Argentina, when it happened on Wednesday [16th October 2024].
Liam was known as one of the members of One Direction, who came third in The X Factor alongside Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik back in 2010. Following the band's hiatus in 2015, Liam went on to release solo music, including 'Strip That Down' in 2017 and his album LP1 in 2019. Earlier this year in March, he also released an LP named Teardrops.
He has one child, a son named Bear, who he shares with former partner Cheryl.
