Prince Harry is expected to miss King Charles' upcoming party, in celebration of his 75th birthday.
It's thought King Charles will mark his big day on 14 November by gathering friends and family at Clarence House. But his youngest son likely won't be in attendance.
While The Sunday Times initially reported that "it is understood Charles invited his second son to the family gathering", it is now understood that Harry has not been contacted regarding the event.
A spokesperson for the Prince told Cosmopolitan UK: "In response to UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty's upcoming birthday."
So, while it's possible Harry and Meghan might still make the guest list; any invite needs sending ASAP.
It's not clear why Harry will be missing the royal bash, but the clue could be in the location. The Prince of Sussex, who lives in California, would have quite the trip to make for the occasion.
There's also the rift between Harry, William and Charles, which is likely to have worsened when Meghan and Harry were reportedly evicted from Frogmore Cottage earlier this year (as per The Sun).
Everyone's clicking on...
But there is hope for a future reconciliation, as Prince Harry is rumoured to be house hunting in the UK.
ICYMI, a source recently told OK! that Harry and Meghan "will soon start looking for a property of their own near London and Harry is very much leading this."
"They won’t be asking the King for a property on the royal estate due to the issue that arose with Frogmore Cottage. Making use of a small apartment in Kensington Palace from time to time isn’t out of the question, but when it comes to a home in the UK, they will purchase that themselves," the source added.
Whether or not the family choose to set up a second base in the UK remains to be seen, but it could mean Harry's able to accept more invitations in the future.
In the meantime, Harry and Meghan appear to be enjoying their time across the pond, as the couple took Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet trick-or-treating near their home in Montecito, California. So precious!
